Meet d'Iris - How We Came to Be

Before d’Iris, there was a sister seeking a birthday gift during the holiday season for her brother - specifically, a candle. It wasn’t long until the sister made the discovery that every candle she picked up harbored toxic chemicals. She scoured the shelves at stores to hunt down clean, toxic-free candles that evoked the same nostalgia as her favorite holiday scents did. Although these clean candles existed, they were sparse and carried little to no distinctive smell. Out of frustration, she set out to make her own. After many trials and errors, she gifted her brother a hand poured candle filled with the loving holiday aromas they once grew up with.

As the holiday season came to an end, we approached a season of unknowns: what candles do we burn now? Wanting to carry the cozy sentiment into the following seasons, she departed on a new journey of discovering scents that could be used year-round but invoked the same idyllic, comforting emotions. Needless to say, the rest is history.
